 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Schoolhouse Creamery in Harlingen is such a gem. As far as I know, this is literally the only place in the area doing true craft ice cream, and they are doing it incredibly well.

I absolutely love their unique flavors. They always have something fun, creative, and different, which makes every visit feel like a little adventure. That said, my go-to is the Mexican vanilla shake, and it is just wonderful. Smooth, rich, perfectly sweet, and easily one of those things I find myself craving later.

The shop itself is always clean, which I really appreciate, and the staff is super friendly every time we go in. They are always happy to give recommendations, talk through the flavors, and offer samples if you are having a hard time deciding.

Great ice cream, great people, and a clean, welcoming place to enjoy something special. Harlingen is lucky to have Schoolhouse Creamery.
